After a easy flight, just 2 hours, I find myself on the Romanian grounds, where I know I shall be for one week, where I also know will enjoy some new traditional foods and explore the beauty of a rural countryside, called Valea Doftanei and located somewhere near Sinaia... pity there is autumn, so no snowboarding.
My plane landing hour offers me some free hours to look around the city. So I open my internet connection and look up on the NGOs Communication Camp Facebook link to double check the meeting hour and see few of the things highlighted as to be seen around Bucharest. I started with the HUGE Parliament Palace, then went for some traditional food in Hanul lui Manuc and looked around to see if the is any Dracula sign in the monastery near by then decided to see the people, how they are, how they feel in a walk towards our meeting point, where I met a lot of people, new countries, but same passion for the communication.
See us in the bus here
Lots of new names... and faces that just went up in the bus towards the mountains.
After a 2 hours ride, we were there, in a place, where you could see just trees and hear the noise of the river. In the lovely landscape there is a villa, that will host us for the training course. It has an welcome banner, and personalized rooms and a lovely garden with a donkey a black lovely dog.
Is time to unpack and then have some food. Can't wait to taste the local food :).
The schedule shows a time to get to know each other, find out more about the TC, meet the lovely Em and Corina, the local trainers and then share what are our expectations (downloads) and what we bring to the table during the TC (uploads).
After new city, new bed, great Romanian food and a TC that sounds creative and fun I need to pit my head to rest, but leave you with some images ...
